I like to visit a museum many times before I start talking about it, the first time everything will happen in fast mode, we look at everything, trying not to miss anything.
Impressed by the beauty of the art works and the museum itself, by the hundreds of stories on each work of art, the inspirations, the periods where they were madeand even the history of the place itself. Too many information and adrenaline rush.

Then the next visit comes, we are more relaxed, we gaze at the art works in a different way, we go again to see our favourites works, after we have done some researches about it, we notice a kind of an evolution of how we feel while contemplating it.

August Rodin, a French sculptor Born in 1840 and died in 1917, was considered the progenitor of the modern sculpture. Rodin's work was mainly inspired by mythology, allegory, he model the human body with realism and celebrated individual character and physicality.

J'aime visiter un musée plusieurs fois avant de commencer à en parler dans mon blog, la première fois les choses se passent très vite, on regard l'ensemble, en essayant de ne rien oublier.
Se laisser impressionner par la beauté des œuvres d'art et le musée lui même, par les centaines d' histoires sur les différentes œuvres d'art, leurs inspirations,et leus periodes la période et même l'histoire de l'endroit lui-même. Beaucoup d'information et de flux d’adrénaline .

Puis la seconde visite prend lieu, on est plus détendu, on contemple les œuvres d'un œil différent, On part pour voir encore une fois nos œuvres préférés, après avoir fait un peu de recherche a leur propos,
On remarque une certaine évolution de notre sentiment pendant qu 'on les regarde.

Auguste Rodin, un sculpteur français nait en 1840 et décédé en 1917, est  considérer comme le père de la sculpture moderne. les œuvres de Rodin étais particulièrement inspirer par la mythologie , l' allégorie, il modelais le corps humain avec réalisme et célébrer l'individualité du caractère et physique

Of course there is no success without failures, and August Rodin had his shares of failures, after many trials, he couldn't win the entrance to the Grand Ecole, but also those rejections were due maybe to the Neoclassical style, while Rodin had been schooled in light 18 century sculpture.

The Gates of Hell

Rodin would earn a living as a craftsman and ornamenter for the most of the next 2 decades, producing decorative objects and architectural embellishments. By 1900 he was world renowned artists, and within few decades, his legacy solidified.

Rodin had this vision to create a museum for all of sculptures, he will work hard to make this dream come true unfortunately he will not live to see this dream come true.


Bien sûs, il n'y a pas de réussit sans échecs, et August Rodin en a eût sa part des échecs, après plusieurs essaies, il n'a pas réussit a gagner le concours d'entrer pour l' Ecole des Beaux- arts, mais peut être ses refus étais à cause de son style néoclassique.
Rodin a pu gagné sa vie en tant qu' artisan et staffeur ornemantiste , en créant des objets décoratifs et des décorations architecturaux, En 1900 il étais déjà mondialement connu et sa réputation a étais bien solide.
